  • Distance runner who has shown much improvement since her arrival on campus... expected to score at the conference meet in both the steeple and 5K events this spring.
  • Was one of the Frogs top five runners during the cross country season.

    2003 Cross Country

  • Finished among the top five TC
  • runners in every cross country meet.
  • Placed 26th at the Conference USA meet, covering the 6K in 22.40.9.
  • Crossed the line in 50th place at the South Central Regional meet, breaking the tape in 23.01.

    2003 Track

  • Competed primarily in the mile run during the indoor season and in the 3000 meter steeplechase during the outdoor season as a freshman.
  • Logged an indoor best time in the indoor mile of 5:05.60 at the Razorback Invitational.
  • Placed 12th at the Conference USA indoor championships in the mile (5:09.60) and was 14th in the 3000 meter run (10:30.41).
  • Posted a steeplechase best time of 11:26.75 at the Texas Relays.
  • Competed in both the 1500 and the steeplechase at the Conference USA outdoor championships... placed ninth in the steeple (11:27.63) and 11th in the 1500 (4:49.24).

    2002 Cross Country

  • One of the Frogs' top four runners during the cross country campaign.
  • Ran a season-best 5K at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla., covering the course in 19:16.
  • Was the Frogs' second finisher and placed 21st overall at the Conference USA meet with a time of 22:47.94 over 6000 meters.
  • Ran a 22:27 6K at the South Central Region to finish 38th overall, the Frogs' second finisher... the squad posted a ninth place finish among the 19 teams competing for the regional title.

    High School

  • Graduated from Keller (Texas) High School in 2002... lettered four times each in cross country and in track & field... coached by David Park.
  • Was a four-time All-Tarrant County selection and earned all-state honors as a sophomore and junior.
  • Placed fifth in the 3200 at the 5A state meet with a time of 11:22.65.
  • Earned her school's cross country Low Point Award in each of her final three campaigns and was the school's track High Point Award winner as a senior.
  • Best times on the track were 5:10 in the 1600 and 10:59 in the 3200m.
