Placed fifth at the Conference USA indoor championships in the 200 meter dash and second in the 400 meter dash.
Posted an indoor best time in the 400 of 46.34 at the Iowa State Last Chance Meet, earning a trip to the indoor nationals in the event.
Finished 10th in the 400 meter dash at the NCAA indoor meet after logging a time of 46.45.
Ran the leadoff leg on TCU's winning 4x4 relay at the C-USA indoor meet... the quartet won the event in 3:13.06.
Ran the anchor leg on the Frogs' silver medal winning 4x4 relay unit at the NCAA Indoor Championships... the foursome turned in a time of 3:04.87.
Finished fourth at the C-USA outdoor championships in the 200 meter dash and second in the 400... qualified for the Midwest Region in the 400, but did not compete due to an injury.
Ran on both relay units during the outdoor season... running second, he broke open the 4x400 meter relay at the Penn Relays with a 44-second split, helping TC
to the gold medal.
Ran the third leg on TCU's silver medal winning 4x1 relay at the C-USA championships and on the sixth place finishing quartet at the NCAA outdoor championships... the foursome turned in a season-best time of 39.13 in the prelim round at the NCAA meet.
Placed ninth in the 400 meter dash at the U.S. Nationals, held in Palo Alto, California... selected to the Pan Am team for the 4x400 meter relay.
2001-2002 (Wallace State C.C.)
Was a five-time national junior college champion and a 10-time JUCO All-American in two years at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama, running for coach Stan Narowski.
Twice captured the indoor 600 meter national title, winning in 1:19.52 and in 1:18.45.
Captured the outdoor 400 meter gold medal as a sophomore with a winning time of 45.65.
Also was part of a pair of 4x4 relay units that claimed national titles.

Graduated from West Potomac High School in Alexandria, Va. in 2000.
Lettered twice in football and four times in track... competed in the long and triple jump in the field events... coached in track by Inez Bryant.
Prep accolades include: two-time All-Met Athlete of the Year; three-time high school All-American; three-time MVP in track and his school's most valuable athlete for individual sports.
His 4x200 meter relay unit was the district, regional, state and national champions.
Personal best at 400 meters was 47.2 seconds.
Named to the Virginia all-star team in football as a senior in 2000.
