Graduated from Kennedale (Texas) High School in 2004... lettered in track & field, volleyball, basketball and cheerleading... coached on the track by James Polk.
Finished second in the 400 meters at the 3A state meet as a senior... ran the anchor leg on Kennedale's 3A state champion 4x200 meter relay squad.
Finished second in the 400 meters at the state meet as a junior and ran on the second place 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay teams.
Named Kennedale's track & field MVP all four years.
Earned all-America honors in cheerleading and was an all-district selection in volleyball.
Best prep times were 11.79 in the 100, 24.6 in the 200 and 55.7 in the 400... lowered her time in the 400 to 54.6 during the summer.
