  • Sophomore hurdler who made a huge impact during her freshman season, winning the conference indoor and outdoor straight hurdle events and earning a trip to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
  • The school record-holder in both the 60-meter hurdles and the 100-meter hurdles, will look to defend her conference titles and has the potential to earn all-America honors.
  • Has the strength to compete in the 400 meter hurdles as well.

    2003

  • Specialized in the sprint hurdle event during both the indoor and outdoor seasons... showed consistent improvement as each season progressed.
  • Named the team MVP following the season.
  • Set the school indoor 60-meter hurdle record when she won the Conference USA title with a season-best time of 8.30 seconds... provisionally qualified for the national meet, but did not make the final cut on the descending order list.
  • Shattered Chessna Davis's outdoor school record of 13.65 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles at the UTA Invitational with a 13.41 clocking.
  • Established the new school mark in the 100-meter hurdles with a 13.24 clocking at the Texas A&M Invitational.
  • Earned a sweep of the C-USA sprint hurdle titles by taking the 100-meter hurdle event at the conference meet in Louisville in a time of 13.37.
  • Struggled at the Midwest Regional meet, placing 11th with a time of 13.85 seconds, but qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships based on her season performances.
  • Placed 25th at the NCAA outdoor meet in Austin with a time of 13.59 seconds.

    High School

  • Lettered four times in track & field at Grandview (Mo.) High School, a suburb of Kansas City... coached by Charlie Bilkison.
  • Named Athlete of the Year in Missouri in both 2002 and 2003... was a three-time all-Metro selection and a four-time school MVP.
  • Established the state record in the 100-meter high hurdles and in the 300-meter low hurdles... was a three-time state champion in the 100-meter hurdles.
  • Named an all-American in AAU and by USA Track & Field.
  • Logged personal best marks of 13.84 in the 100 meter hurdles and 42.80 in the 300 meter hurdles.
