2005 - Competed once during the indoor season, finishing 11th in the shot put at the Wes Kittley 6-Way Meet with a throw of 12.09m (39-08.00) ... did not compete during the outdoor season ... is also an offensive tackle on the Horned Frog football team.
High School - Captured both the Texas Relays and the 5A state title in the discus as a senior ... won the state crown with a season-best toss of 191-1 ... that mark ranked 17th on the 2004 prep list ... finished fourth at the state meet in the discus as a junior in 2003 ... was a third team all-Texas selection in football ... earned first team all-district honors in both 2002 and 2003 for Weatherford, playing for coach Mike Sneed ... was a member of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's State 100 list.
