General
Talented distance runner who transferred to TCU to attend grad school and use her final year of eligibility following an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University.
Plagued by injuries during the cross country season, but still earned a trip to the NCAA Championships... has the potential to be a national-caliber runner in the 5 and 10K events if she can remain healthy.
2003 Cross Country
Struggled with injury problems which kept her sidelined until the conference meet.
Gave the Frogs a huge shot in the arm with a second place finish at the Conference USA championships, covering the 6K course in 20:46.30, behind only teammate Mary Kinyanjui... her performance helped TCU to a second place finish behind Marquette.
Turned in another impressive performance at the South Central Regional meet... earned all-region honors with a third place finish, breaking the finish line in 20:57, earning a trip to the national meet.
Fell twice in the first 600 meters and placed 57th overall at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, completing the 6K distance in 20:56.3.
2001-2003 (Oklahoma State University)
Placed ninth in the regional cross country meet in 2002, earning all-region honors while competing for Oklahoma State University.
Coached by Catrina Acousta.
Earned academic all-Big 12 honors three times.
High School
Graduated from Mabank (Texas) High School in 1999... coached by Bill Cheney.
Lettered in track & field, cross country and was on the cheerleading squad.
Earned team MVP honors in both track and cross country all four years of high school... was a four-time district cross country champion and a four-time district champion on the track.Named the Athlete of the Year and was a Wendy's High School Heisman selection.
