Chaime (rhymes with fame) was an outstanding prep star who is expected to make an immediate contribution in both the short sprints and in the horizontal jumps.
Expected to compete in both the 60 and 100 meter dashes, in the long and triple jumps, and is a strong candidate for the 4x100 meter relay.
High School
Lettered in football and in track at Killeen Ellison High School... coached by Donald Stowers and Shon Williams.
Posted the fastest indoor 60 meter dash time among all high school sprinters, logging a 6.73 clocking at the University of Houston All-Comers meet in February of 2003.
Logged personal best marks of 24-3 in the long jump and 49-11 in the triple jump as a junior.
Did not compete during the outdoor season as a senior due to injury.
