Captured the gold medal in the triple jump at the TCU Invitational with a season-best mark of 12.57 meters (41-03.00).
Grabbed the silver medal in the long jump (5.92m) and took fourth in the triple jump (12.12m) at the C-USA outdoor meet in Louisville.
Qualified for the Midwest Regional meet in the long jump... posted a ninth place finish in College Station with a career-best jump of 6.23 meters (20-05.25) to earn a spot in the NCAA Championships.
Placed in a tie for 17th at the NCAA outdoor meet in Austin with a mark of 6.09 meters (19-11.75).
High School
Earned four letters in track & field at Cisco High School, competing for coach Lori Whatley... helped her team capture two state track titles.
Was a four-time state champion in the triple jump and won consecutive long jump titles her junior and senior years... won 15 gold medals at the state meets during her career, including five as a senior.
Received four basketball letters playing for TCU grad Darla Henry.
Was a Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-Star and participated in the Texas-Oklahoma Oil Bowl All-Star game her senior year.
Tabbed the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) Class 2A Player of the Year in both 2002 and 2003.
Was a second-team all-state basketball selection by the Texas Sports Writer's Association (TSWA)... garnered first team accolades at the regional level... named her district's MVP.
Captured the team's MVP award in each of her four seasons... averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks per game for her career.
Was also a varsity cheerleader for three years.
