H2O Frogs To Compete At UT-Invite

The TCU swimming and diving team will travel to Austin, Texas, to compete at the UT-Invite Thursday through Sunday. The meet will be held at the Lee and Jamail Texas Swimming Center with preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. each day. This competition will be the stiffest thus far this season for the Frogs and it will be their first action since swimming at Southwest Missouri State on Nov. 20.
The women's team heads to the invitational with a 7-1 dual meet record this season. Sophomore Erica Tate leads the team and C-USA in the 50-free, 100-free and 100-butterfly this season. She also teamed with Aimee Moreau, Leann Cathcart and Emily Duerringer to form the top 200-free relay in the conference thus far this season.
The men's team goes to Austin with a 3-2 dual meet record. Senior Craig Chapman is leading the Conference USA in the 200-back and 200-free this season and the reigning Conference Swimmer of the Meet is also a member of the top 400-medley relay along with Aran Bean, Teylor Arboleda and Jonathon Berrettini. In the diving events, junior Kelly McCain is tops in the league in both the one and three-meter springboard.
