TCU to wrap up regular season against North Texas

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's swimming and diving team will end the regular season on Wednesday as they play host to North Texas at 6 p.m. at the University Recreation Center.
TCU (6-7, 2-6) is coming off of a 137.5-107.5 victory over New Mexico, where the Horned Frogs set five season-best times. Maria Alvarez, who joined the team prior to the start of the spring season, won two events to lead all swimmers, while Katie Rosen and Keilah Walker added victories on Senior Day. Brittney Martinez also added a win in the 200-back, while Jennifer Ferguson won the three-meter diving event after making her first return to the pool this year after recovering from an injury.
The North Texas women's swimming and diving team has posted an overall record of 2-8 this season playing a very demanding schedule, which has included Arkansas, Georgia, SMU, Texas A&M and Wyoming.
The Frogs are 16-0 all-time against North Texas dating back to the 1998-99 season. Last year, the TCU women's team defeated the Mean Green by a score of 79-61 in Fort Worth and 83-48 in Denton.
