FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's swimming and diving team will face San Diego State on Friday at the Aztec Aquaplex in a Mountain West Conference dual meet to open the spring season.

The Horned Frogs are currently 4-4 on the season, with a 1-3 mark in MWC action. TCU will return to the pool after placing eighth at the Las Vegas Invite on Dec. 17. Freshman Jessica Miles recorded the highest finish for the Frogs with a third-place showing in the 1650-free (17:26.72). Other Frogs that posted top-10 finishes at the three-day tournament were Sarah Bardwell, Mychala Lynch, Brittney Martinez, Katie Rosen and Keilah Walker.

The Aztecs of San Diego State are currently 2-2 overall this season and 0-2 in league play. San Diego State has defeated Boise State and Cal State East Bay, while falling to conference opponents Utah and Wyoming.

TCU took a 71-40 decision over San Diego State in Fort Worth last season and triumphed over the Aztecs in San Diego in 2006 by a score of 163-128 in the two teams' only other meeting.
