Austin, Texas -- The TCU swimming and diving teams competed for the first time since Nov. 20 today at the highly competitive UT-Invite in Austin, Texas. The Frogs posted season-best times in every event of the night and Erica Tate broke the school record in the 100-fly.

Tate, a sophomore from Grapevine, finished in tenth place in the 100-fly with a time of 55.41. The mark breaks former Horned Frog Katie Tredennick's school record time of 56.19, which was set in 1989. Additionally, Tate finished in 13th in the 50-free (23.42) and was a member of the 400-medley relay team along with Aimee Moreau, Christi Cannon and Tiffany Strawn that finished in 10th place (3:51.93).

On the men's side, senior Craig Chapman continued to lead the team as he finished with a season-best time of 4:29.14 in the 500-free as he placed 12th. The mark demolishes his previous season-best time, which stood at 4:43.05. In the 400-medley relay, Chapman also teamed with Aran Bean, Scott McCure and Yousif Del Valle to finish in 14th place with a time of 3:25.57.

The Frogs best finish of the night came in the 200-freestyle relay where Jonathon Berrettini, Del Valle, Teylor Arboleda and Diego Palacios touched the wall in 1:23.62, which put them in ninth place.

The Frogs will return to action tomorrow morning with preliminaries beginning at 10 a.m. Finals will follow later in the day starting at 6 p.m.
