HOUSTON - TCU divers Kyle Callens and R.J. Hesselberg competed in the one-meter springboard event on Saturday at the NCAA Zone D Men's Diving Meet at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Natatorium at the University of Houston.

Callens, a freshman who earned two All-MWC selections, placed 10th in the one-meter springboard event after recording a score of 255.95 in the finals for a total score of 525.25.

Hesselberg, this season's MWC Men's Diver of the Year, recorded a score of 237.55, and followed with a score of 265.75 for a total of 503.30 to place 13th in the one-meter event.

Callens and Hesselberg will attempt to qualify for the 2008 NCAA Championships on Sunday in the platform diving event at 10 a.m.
