This Season - McCain returns as the team's top diver... will attempt to make his second straight appearance at the NCAA Diving Championships and will provide veteran leadership to young Frog divers.
As a Junior in 2004-2005 - Became the first male diver in TCU history to qualify for the NCAA Diving Championships... finished 21st in the 1-meter (283.50) and 32nd in the 3-meter (258.20)... was the runner up in the 3-meter at the NCAA Sectional D Diving Meet (544.95) and finished fourth in the 1-meter with a school-record score of 558.05... Conference USA Invitational runner up in the 1-meter (293.65) and 3-meter events (464.05)... also finished third in the platform event with a score of 329.15 points... received the NCAA Achievement Award at the spring team banquet.
As a Sophomore in 2003-2004 - Earned all-Conference USA honors after winning the 1-meter with a score of 302.95... also placed sixth in the 3-meter (387.55) and platform (283.45) at the Invitational... won a total of seven diving events throughout the year... named team's Most Valuable Diver.
As a Freshman in 2002-2003 - Placed second in the 1-meter at the 2003 Conference USA Invitational, scoring a 296.00 on six dives... named team's Most Valuable Diver.
High School - Garnered first team All-America honors as a junior and senior at Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi... all-Texas selection all four years of prep career.
