Three-time All-State selection...Lake Travis team captain as a senior... two time Lake Travis Male Swimmer of the Year (2006-07, 07-08)...District 26-4A Swimmer of the Year (2008)...in 2008, finished runner-up in the Texas State 200-IM, 100-breast and third place in 400-free relay as well as overall team...was a High School All-American in the 100-breast and 200-IM.

Hoffmann is the son of Daniel and Patricia Hoffmann...has a younger brother, Zach (16), as well as a younger sister, Kristina (14)....majoring in business at TCU....enjoys going to the lake.
