Kristin Carson begins her second season as a graduate assistant with the TCU swimming and diving program.
Prior to her arrival on campus, Carson was the head swim coach for Sault Competitive Aquatics team in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., where she coached ages 7-18 and conducted workouts for many different skill levels.
During her collegiate career, Carson swam four seasons at the University of North Texas and served as the team captain during her final two campaigns. She held school records in the distance freestyle events. Carson was also a member of the cross country team.
Carson hails from a family full of swimmers. Her father, Ted, is a swim coach in Midland, Texas, and her younger sister, Caroiine, swims at Denver University.
Carson is pursuing a master's degree from TCU in sports psychology.
