The TCU swimming & diving program adds a trio of assistant coaches - John Funk, Caroline Maxvill and Adam Stoner - for the 2013-14 season.
Adam Stoner brings four years of collegiate coaching experience to TCU as a graduate assistant coach.
A four-year student assistant coach at Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, Stoner helped guide a women's squad that ranked No. 21 nationally during the 2012-13 season. While at Lock Haven Stoner also helped mentor one of the most successful swimmers in program history, seven-time All-American Brittany Rehrig.
Stoner also brings four years of experience as an assistant coach for Tennessee Swimming Camps and spent summers as Assistant Waterfront Director and Director of Swimming at Brant Lake Camp in Brant Lake, N.Y.
A four-year letterwinner at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pa., Stoner served as team captain as a senior in 2008-09.
A native of Walnut Bottom, Pa., Stoner is pursuing his Master's in Kinesiology emphasizing motor control at TCU.
