Hao Brown

After emigrating from Vietnam in 1975, Hao Brown grew up in Arlington, Texas, and was a 1987 graduate of Sam Houston High School. Finishing in the top one percent of her graduating class, Brown was a member of the National Honor Society and lettered in tennis. On scholarship at Texas A&M, Brown participated in the Corp of Cadets and Navy ROTC. She graduated from Texas A&M in three years with a bachelor's degree in biochemestry.

Her experience while at Texas A&M and a self-driven interest has provided her with reconnaissance training and the use of various types of firearms. She has been employed by TCU since March of 1998 as the Workers' Compensation Coordinator.

Brown's previous experience in the corporate world includes three years at Harris Methodist Health Systems as a Workers' Compensation Coordinator. She spent two years at the Petrosurance Casualty Company as a Claims Consultant and she was employed by Crawford and Co. for two years as a Claims Representative.

The former Hao Hong Tran was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and is married to Larry Brown. They have two children - Kymille, age 4, and Hannah, age 2 - and reside in Fort Worth.
