Rifle headed to Lexington to shoot off against the No. 2 Wildcats of Kentucky. The Frogs placed second behind the nationally-ranked team in both air rifle and smallbore. The team shot a 4,115 in smallbore and a 1,413 in air rifle.

Junior Joncee Moulder (Weatherford, Texas/Weatherford H.S.) led the way for the Frogs in smallbore with an individual score of 1,079. She placed seventh in air rifle with a score of 354.

Junior Jess Parras (Monahans, Texas/Monahans H.S.) led the team with the highest air rifle score of 368 to earn a fifth place finish. She shot a 1,005 in smallbore to place seventh.

Freshman Nikki LeCompte (Manassas, Va./Osbourn Park H.S.) shot a 1,066 in smallbore and 364 in air rifle to place sixth in both events. Junior Stephanie Lawrenz (Corona Del Mar, Calif./Corona Del Mar H.S.) shot a 327 in air rifle and a 965 in smallbore to finish with an eighth place finish in both events.

The Frogs will take the holidays off and return to action Jan. 24 against Air Force.
