The Shooting Frogs were on the road again this weekend, this time in Morganstown for the West Virginia Invitational. The team posted their highest air rifle score of the season thus far against Ole Miss Saturday, Nov. 13. Even with the improvement, the Frogs still fell to the Rebels 2,301 to 2,225.

Sophomore Emily Conway continued her lead as the top Frog shooter with a mark of 563. Sophomore Nikki LeCompte wasn't far behind with a score of 560. Senior Dana O'Shea and sophomore Suzanne Bush both shot a 551 to round out the TCU team.

On Sunday, the Frogs faced off against West Virginia and placed second to the Mountaineers, 2,307-2,210. Conway again led the Frog shooters with a score of 561 and LeCompte wasn't far behind again with a mark of 560. O'Shea dropped one from the previous day and scored a 550.

The Frogs will take a break over the Holidays and return to action January 22 at the Southwest Invitational in El Paso.
