The Shooting Frogs beat UAB Saturday to secure their first meet win for the season. The team racked up an air rifle score of 2,229 to defeat the Blazers of UAB.

Sophomore Emily Conway continued her lead of the team and secured her first first-place finish at a collegiate rifle meet. Conway shot a 569 to earn that honor. Senior Dana O'Shea and sophomore Nikki LeCompte tied for second with individual marks of 562. Sophomore Suzanne Bush rounded out the rest of the competiotion team with a score of 536.

The Frogs shoot next at the NRA Sectionals in Colorado Springs, Colo. Feb. 12.
