Duties
Interns will be responsible for assisting the Head and Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coaches in the day-to-day operations as well as completing a comprehensive educational overview, consisting of weekly discussions on various topics within the strength and conditioning field along with weekly reading, coursework and certification preparation for those in need. The level of learning experience gained by one of the top strength and conditioning staffs in the country is solely dependent on the initiative set forth by the interns themselves.
Compensation
This is a non-paid position, but offers the opportunity of advancement in the field of strength and conditioning as well as the fulfillment of credit hours towards a degree program.
Qualifications
One year of previous experience in a strength and conditioning program or have previous collegiate athletics experience; working towards a certification through NSCA or CSCAA; bachelor's degree or in process of earning bachelor's degree; strong desire to make strength and conditioning your desired profession.
