Special Teams Player of the Week
|

game, he dropped three of his four attempts inside the Aztecs' 20-yard line.

Rock Hard Hit of the Week
|
|
| Safety Stephen Hodge delivered a vicious hit to Aztec wide receiver Atiy
Henderson following a 5-yard completion in the third quarter. As soon as
Henderson made his catch and turned up field, Hodge made the big hit to
force a San Diego State punt on the following play. |

Sack Counter
|
|
| The Frog defense extended its streak of straight games with at least one
sack to 10 contests thanks to defensive end Tommy Blake. Blake registered an
8-yard loss for Aztec quarterback Kevin O'Connell in the fourth quarter. TCU
finished the season with 36 sacks to tie Utah for the overall conference
lead, while the squad also tied for 17th nationally in the category.

Perfect Connection of the Week
|
|
| Wide receiver Donald Massey recorded TCU's third-longest play from scrimmage
on the season with a spectacular run-and-catch covering 48 yards in the
first quarter. Massey pulled in a quick pass down the line of scrimmage from
quarterback Andy Dalton and was able to break free down the sideline to the
San Diego State 15. The connection was one of several big plays that helped
the Frogs amass a season-best 694 yards of total offense.
