Sam Demel Baseball Junior Spring, Texas Earned the win in the Frogs extra-inning victory over Dallas Baptist Picked up two strikeouts in each of the three innings he threw in, while stranding runners in scoring position in the 10th and the 12th Picked up his first save of the season on Friday with 1.2 scoreless innings of work. The only batter to reach did so on an error. Struck out three straight to end the eighth and open the ninth inning. Did not surrender a hit in 4.1 innings of work this past week.

Hanna Biernacka Women's Basketball Senior Stockholm, Sweden A senior from Stockholm, Sweden, Hanna Biernacka led TCU with eight rebounds to go along with eight points and four assists in TCU’s 74-50 win over Utah on Sunday. Biernacka finished 3-of-8 from the floor and also had a block in 31 minutes. Biernacka is third on the team in scoring with an average of 11.7 and second in rebounding (5.0). She has started 15 of the 17 games she has played in this season.
