  • TCU junior guard Brent Hackett averaged 20.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He shot 57.1 percent from the field (12-for-21), including 9-for-15 (60 percent) from long range. Prior to this week, Hackett had just one 20-point scoring night in 74 career games.

  • In a 64-52 home win over New Mexico last Wednesday, Hackett scored a game-high 20 points, one shy of his career high, and added a career-best seven rebounds.

  • At Utah, Hackett dropped in 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting, while grabbing two rebounds and tallying two assists. He hit five of eight 3-pointers to help the Horned Frogs to their first-ever road win in MWC league play. In addition, he helped TCU to a 2-0 start in league for just the second time in the past nine seasons.

  • Named Mountain West Conference Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week.

  • TCU senior forward Hanna Biernacka led TCU to a 2-0 record last week, including large victories over UNLV (88-63) and Colorado State (86-36).

  • Against the Rebels, Biernacka scored a team-tying-season-high 26 points. She played a near perfect first half, shooting an astounding 9-of-10 from the floor in the first half for 18 points.

  • The 26 points in the game was a career-best for the LSU transfer.

  • She scored eight points in the win over Colorado State and recorded three steals.

  • For the week, Bierncaka averaged 17.0 ppg, shot 63.0 percent from the field and pulled down 4.0 rebounds per game. She also averaged 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals, respectively.
