The women's 4x400 consisting of Kishelle Paul, Jessica Clarke, Shekila Wilkinson and Jessica Young crossed the finish line in third-place at the Texas Relays with a seasonal-best time of 3:33.01, which is currently the No. 3 ranked time in the NCAA and the seventh-best time in the world standings. The unit's time is also the third-best outdoor time in program history for the women's 4x400.

Matt Vern played a huge role in helping the frogs sweep four games last week. Vern hit safely in all four games going 6-for-6 in the first three. In the weekend series against No. 18 New Mexico, Vern hit .778 with a homerun in each contest, including one on Friday to tie the game at 1-1.
