Radu Barbu Men's Tennis Senior Pitesti, Romania In his first action of the spring season, senior Radu Barbu made an immediate impact, recording three wins at the No. 2 doubles position with Andrew Ulrich, including an 8-5 win over No. 19 Duke's tandem of Arnould and Stone. Prior to this past week, only one win had been recorded at the No. 2 doubles slot •Barbu also notched two singles victories, defeating Bryce Hicks of Abilene Christian, 6-3, 6-0, and Thiago Dos Santos of Wichita State, 6-3, 6-4.

Ashley Davis Women's Basketball Senior San Antonio, Texas Playing in her fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament, Ashley Davis set a career high with 24 points and tied another with 12 rebounds in an 88-74 loss to Ole Miss in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The San Antonio, Texas, native made 10-of-20 shots and 4-of-10 three-point tries to top her previous career high of 23 points. Her 12 rebounds tied the 12 boards she had against Texas A&M in the 2006 NCAA Tournament. Davis also had two steals and tied a season high with two blocks.
