Jonathan Jackson Track and Field Senior Grand Prairie, Texas • Captured the triple jump title with an NCAA automatic leap of 16.26m (53-04.25) at the Mountain West Conference Championships. • His jump broke his own school record in the event set earlier this winter and is currently ranked as the third best leap in the NCAA. • It also ranks as the third-best triple jump mark in MWC men's championship history. • Also placed second in the long jump at the MWC Championships.

Neidra Covington Track and Field Sophomore St. Petersburg, Fla. • She successfully defended her MWC crown in the women's triple jump with an NCAA automatic leap of 13.41m (44-00.00). • By soaring 13.41m (44-00.00), the sophomore broke her own school record in the event and posted the fifth-best mark in MWC women's championship history. • Covington also won the women's long jump with an NCAA provisional leap of 6.26m (20-06.50). Covington's jump is currently the 12th best leap in the NCAA and a personal best mark.
