TCU/ISP Sports Network

In April of 2006, TCU and ISP Sports reached an agreement that provides ISP, the national leader in collegiate sports marketing, with primary multi-media rights to TCU Athletics for the next seven years.

With the partnership, which went into effect on July 1, TCU is guaranteed an annual rights fee and will share in additional revenues as well. In consideration, ISP Sports receives the rights to all sales and marketing opportunities associated with Horned Frog sports, including the TCU radio network for all sports, print advertising in various athletic department publications, promotions, and all signage in TCU athletic facilities.

"ISP is nationally recognized for its excellence in multi-media sports marketing, and we are excited to begin a relationship with such an outstanding company," says TCU Director of Athletics Danny Morrison. "We have been most impressed with the ISP team, and we look forward to a productive seven years."

TCU is the 32nd major NCAA athletic program to align itself with ISP Sports and the second from the Mountain West Conference to do so in recent months. Brigham Young and ISP announced a similar partnership in January.

The list of ISP clients also includes prominent NCAA Division I institutions such as Baylor, Georgia, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.

"The TCU athletics program has great momentum, and ISP is excited to be a part of the Horned Frogs' family."

The TCU football and men's basketball game broadcasts will continue to be carried by ESPN Radio 103.3 FM.

Thanks in part to a multiyear agreement between TCU and Metroplex-based 100,000-watt 103.3 ESPN, the Horned Frog faithful and nearly six million people throughout the region will have access to every Horned Frog football and basketball game. The ESPN Radio broadcasts can also be heard around the world via the Internet on Yahoosports.com.

Meet the TCU Radio Team

Brian Estridge returns to the Network for the ninth consecutive year with his insightful and entertaining play-by-play as the "Voice of the Horned Frogs" and TCU's Director of Broadcasting. In addition to his radio responsibilities, Estridge has also provided play-by-play for numerous ESPN Regional Television and CBS/Westwood One radio productions. The Kershaw, S.C., native previously served as the play-by-play voice of Miami (Ohio) University and Appalachian State University, where he developed the network into one of North Carolina's largest with over 30 stations carrying Mountaineer football. Prior to his stint at Appalachian, Estridge was sports director at WLCM radio in Lancaster, S.C., and WATA radio in Boone, N.C. His play-by-play was honored in 2002 by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters as the best collegiate play-by-play in the state. He was one of three nominees in 1996 for North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year. Co-Host of the popular "Galloway and Company" afternoons on 103.3 ESPN, Estridge graduated from Appalachian State. Estridge and his wife, Rebecca Ringer, and their children, Gaines and Ellen, reside in Colleyville.

John Denton returns to the TCU radio booth as the color analyst. The 2006 season marks the 18th year on the TCU/ISP Sports Network for the former Horned Frog kicker. Denton, who came to TCU as a walk-on, lettered four years as a kicker and punter for the Horned Frogs from 1981-84 and played in the 1984 Bluebonnet Bowl. In 1983, only 11 of his 60 kickoffs were returned. He has drawn assignments with Westwood One and CBS Radio Sports and their coverage of the NCAA Basketball Tournament, NFL Monday Night Football, NFL Playoffs and Major League Baseball's Game of the Week. In addition to his TCU football color analyst duties, Denton serves as analyst for TCU men's basketball and is a regular fixture on 103.3 ESPN's college and professional football coverage. Denton graduated from TCU in 1985 with a B.S. in broadcast journalism and serves as Director of the TCU Frog Club. Denton and his wife, Linda, reside in Southlake with their two daughters, Erin and Meredith.

Jeff Williams is back for his eighth season with the Network. Serving as the play-by-play voice of TCU women's basketball since 1998, Williams began in 1999 as the sideline analyst for TCU radio and television broadcasts in football. He also provides play-by-play accounts for select men's basketball games. A current staff member at WBAP radio, Williams was the play-by-play voice of Penn State women's basketball from 1993-95. The former sports director of WMAJ in State College, Pa., Williams resides in Weatherford with his wife, Kathy, and their two children, Dustin and Abby.

Also part of the TCU/ISP Sports Network are Taylor Durham (studio host), Wayne Gossard (spotter), Josiah Miller (network engineer) and Brian Sperry (statistician).

Durham is in his first year as studio host. The 1996 Elon graduate has worked with ISP Sports as director of affiliate relations since March 2000.

Miller will be in his second season in his current capacity as the network engineer. He was previously the network coordinating producer for five years. A 2003 TCU graduate with a degree in radio, television and film, Miller has also been the network producer for the Dallas Mavericks Radio Network for the last three years. The Fort Worth resident is currently the production director for 103.3 ESPN in Fort Worth/Dallas.

Gossard is in his 16th season as a spotter for the TCU broadcasts. He is an independent oil producer and director of development for Helinex Corp., a charter helicopter service. Gossard and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 23 years and reside in Dallas.

Sperry begins his 11th year as the game statistician for TCU football and his 18th overall keeping stats. He has also provided statistical assistance for Horned Frog men's basketball games the last six years. In addition to his work with TCU, Sperry has also been the chief statistician for the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network while working with the Dallas Mavericks, CBS Radio, the Texas Longhorns and a host of other sports teams and media outlets. Sperry and his family reside in McKinney.


Meet the TCU/ISP Team

Name: Rudy Klancnik
Title: Assistant Vice President and General Manager for TCU

Rudy Klancik joined the ISP Sports team as the General Manager for the TCU property in May 2006. In this role, Klancik is responsible for all aspects of property management and corporate sponsorship sales for the Horned Frogs. He previously served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Apprise Media in Dallas. Klancik comes with a wealth of experience prior to his work at Apprise Media. He has worked as the Director of New Business Development for American Airlines Publishing, a Senior Manager for the Pepsi Sports Division of Genesco Sports Enterprises, a Senior Manager for DirecTV and an Editorial Director for Beckett Publications. Klancik received his B.S. in Journalism from the University of North Texas.

Title: Assistant GM

Jeff joined the TCU ISP Sports Network in November 2006. He originally became a part of the ISP family in November 2004 at the Syracuse ISP Sports Network. He brought with him a solid background in sports marketing and sales. As the Assistant GM for the TCU office, he will assist in all aspects of the business on a daily basis. Prior to joining ISP, Jeff spent six years in sales and development with Teamlink, Inc., and more recently, two years with American Hole 'n One as a chief account executive.
