a former TCU football standout, Worthen begins his fifth year as the Assistant Director/Athletic Academic Advisor for the Horned Frog football program.
Prior to returning to TCU, Worthen worked as an intern to the Athletics Director at both Madison High School (Houston, Texas) and St. Paul Central High School (St. Paul, Minnesota).
Worthen was drafted in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings where he played four seasons for both the Vikings as well as Houston Texans. At TCU, Worthen was a three-time all-conference selection.
Worthen graduated from TCU with a bachelor's degree in management as well as earned his master's degree in education with an emphasis in special education.
Worthen and his wife, Tara, currently reside in Fort Worth with their daughter, Ari, and nephew, Devon.
