Brian Estridge begins his 11th season as the "Voice of the Horned Frogs" and TCU's Director of Broadcasting. In addition to his insightful and entertaining play-by-play radio duties for TCU - Estridge has also provided play-by-play for numerous ESPNU and CBS/Westwood One radio productions and is the co-host of the popular "Galloway and Company" heard afternoons on TCU/ISP Sports Network's flagship station - 103.3 FM ESPN. A native of Kershaw, S.C. - Estridge began his radio career at the age of 14 where he made stops in South Carolina, North Carolina and Ohio providing play-by-play coverage for Miami (OH) University as well as Appalachian State University. The Voice of the Frogs has been honored by both the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters and the Press Club of Dallas as the best collegiate play-by-play announcer in the state. He was one of three nominees in 1996 for the North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year. A graduate of Appalachian State - Estriduge and his wife - Rebecca - reside in Colleyville with their two children - Gaines and Ellie. |
