FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Athletics Department was represented by 73 student-athletes that were selected to the Academic All-Mountain West Conference Team for the 2010 spring semester, which was released by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
The 73 Horned Frog student-athletes surpasses 71 from a season ago and 60 from the 2007-08 campaign.
TCU was represented from 10 winter and spring sports, including baseball, women's basketball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's track and field.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be a starter or significant contributor on their respective team.
