TCU and ESPN Plus have reached a publishing and advertising sales agreement with GameDay Sports Marketing. The agreement grants GameDay Sports Marketing the right to publish and provide advertising sales support for the Official Texas Christian University football and basketball game programs.
"TCU is a property we've wanted to work with for some time," said Galen Beenken, Chief Executive Officer of GameDay Sports Marketing. "Eric Hyman, TCU's Athletics Director, has assembled a very talented staff that is achieving incredible results. With Gary Patterson leading TCU to its fifth straight bowl game and Neil Dougherty leading the Frogs in C-USA basketball, GameDay feels that TCU Athletics is among the premier Athletic Departments in the country."
"I have known Galen for many years and he has an excellent reputation not only in the collegiate community, but in the corporate community for customer service and for delivering more than the client expects," said TCU/ESPN Plus General Manager Brian Florko. "He has brought that same commitment and expertise to GameDay Sports Marketing. GameDay will offer advertisers in the TCU football and basketball program more value and more service; which is an ideal situation for the Fort Worth corporate community. For TCU, the same holds true, GameDay will deliver more value and increased service that will make the programs better. For TCU and ESPN, this is a very positive step forward."
