FOOTBALL SCHEDULE 
We are committed to putting together as attractive a football schedule as we can. We had originally agreed as a conference for the Boise State game to be a home game for us. To see it now reversed and moved to a road game is disappointing for our fans and community. We were also disappointed that Texas Tech chose not to come to Fort Worth this fall. Our focus right now is on finding opponents to complete our 2011 schedule. We hope to have our non-conference games finalized and announced soon.

GREETINGS FROM CHINA! 
It's an absolute honor for me to be on a tour of Nike's impressive production facilities in Southeast Asia. I'm traveling with a group from Nike, the NCAA and several athletics directors from other schools who also share a close relationship with Nike. We began our 10-day journey in Vietnam. We then hit Hong Kong and Shanghai before concluding in Beijing. We'll be headed home Sunday and then back in the office first thing Monday.

NOTES ON A SCORECARD - Jan. 12, 2011

CELEBRATION SUNDAY 
We look forward to seeing you Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum as we celebrate our Rose Bowl championship. The doors to the DMC open at 2:30. We'll have concession stands open and Rose Bowl apparel available for purchase. We're expecting a full house, so make every effort to arrive early. We'll have our football student-athletes, head coach Gary Patterson and his staff, Chancellor Boschini, Rose Bowl representatives, Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief and other dignitaries present. There's a great program planned as we pay tribute to a memorable team and season.

ROSE BOWL CHAMPIONS! 
How about our Rose Bowl champions! Congratulations to the student-athletes and coaches in our football program for a memorable day in "The Granddaddy of Them All." The sea of purple in the stands in Pasadena was almost as much of a story as our win. We sincerely thank all of you who made the trip. You were loud and made a difference in the game.
