BIG 12 WELCOME PARTY

We hope to see you Saturday night as we celebrate our new membership in the Big 12 Conference with a special midnight party in Rodeo Plaza in front of Billy Bob's Texas in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Our program will start at 11:45 p.m. as we begin a countdown to midnight, July 1, when our entrance into the Big 12 becomes official. Gary Patterson and many of his fellow head coaches will be there, along with Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby and representatives from the city of Fort Worth. We'll also have our cheerleaders, Showgirls, SuperFrog and the Frog Horn on hand. The evening will also provide an opportunity to purchase co-branded TCU and Big 12 merchandise.

Everyone is invited to a special midnight party on Saturday, June 30, in Rodeo Plaza in front of Billy Bob's Texas in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards to celebrate our official entrance into the Big 12 Conference. Special guests from TCU, the Big 12 and Fort Worth will be present, including our sprit groups and the Frog Horn. Our program will start at 11:45 p.m. as we begin a countdown to midnight, July 1, and our official entrance into the Big 12. This will also be the first opportunity to purchase co-branded TCU and Big 12 merchandise. We'll follow this kickoff with smaller community events and appearances throughout July and August.

NATIONAL CHAMPION AGAIN

How about Whitney Gipson winning another national championship in the long jump! Congratulations to a very special TCU graduate. Whitney received her degree in broadcast journalism last month and actually competed at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships as an alumna. She also won the national title in the long jump at the indoor championships. It's now on to the Olympic trials for Whitney as she looks to secure her spot in London.
